Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is vital for the design and implementation of clean water infrastructure projects, primarily based in Falmer with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and overseeing civil engineering designs for clean water infrastructure projects
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
- Conducting site visits to assess project requirements and provide technical input
- Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Coordinating with external stakeholders and clients to ensure project alignment
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Managing project timelines and ensuring deliverables are met
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in civil engineering within the water sector
