Our client, a leading company in the water sector, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Falmer. This role offers a hybrid working model, with ad-hoc visits to the Falmer office. You will be contributing to wastewater infrastructure projects, making a significant impact within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design and implementation of civil engineering projects focused on wastewater infrastructure
- Conducting feasibility studies and technical assessments
- Preparation and review of project documentation including reports, specifications, and contractual documents
- Ensuring project compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project objectives
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Visiting project sites as required to oversee progress and ensure quality standards
Job Requirements:
- Experience in civil engineering within the water sector
- Strong understanding of wastewater infrastructure projects
