Our client in Bournemouth is seeking a skilled Hardware Team Leader to join them on 3 month initial contract basis. This contract role is ideal for those with a strong background in IT analysis and IT support, looking to make a significant impact on hardware operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of IT analysts and support staff in delivering high-quality hardware solutions
- Coordinate and manage hardware installations, maintenance, and upgrades
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware-related issues
- Develop and implement hardware policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency
- Monitor hardware performance and ensure systems are running optimally
- Collaborate with other departments to align hardware capabilities with business needs
- Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for hardware maintenance
- Work with third party suppliers to ensure fit for purpose and value for money hardware solutions for the business
Job Requirements:
- Experience in IT analysis and IT support
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team
- Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective hardware policies
- Understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent experience
This role will be to start in September paying in the region of £275-£300 a day inside IR35.
