Our client, a leading organisation in the water and civil engineering sector, is seeking a Site Agents for contract opportunities. The role will involve overseeing construction activities, coordinating site operations and supporting the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day construction activities across water and civil engineering projects
- Coordinating subcontractors, site teams, suppliers and other project stakeholders
- Monitoring progress, quality, health and safety, and environmental standards on site
- Interpreting construction drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Supporting programme planning, progress reporting and resource management
- Identifying construction risks and implementing effective mitigation measures
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements:
- Experiencewithin the civil engineering or water sector
- Strong understanding of water infrastructure, civil works and construction processes
- Ability to manage site teams and coordinate multiple project activities
- Knowledge of health and safety, quality assurance and environmental procedures
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
- Relevant construction or civil engineering qualifications, such as an NVQ, HNC, HND or degree
