Our client, a leading organisation in the veterinary care sector, is seeking an Early Careers Programme Manager to oversee and develop programmes that support the next generation of veterinary professionals. This contract role will focus on creating a positive, structured experience for early-career colleagues while supporting workforce development and organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of early careers programmes
- Co-ordinating onboarding, development activities, mentoring and progression support
- Building strong relationships with veterinary practices, educational providers and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring programme participation, engagement and outcomes
- Identifying opportunities to improve the early careers experience and strengthen talent pipelines
- Preparing reports, updates and recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Supporting recruitment, retention and professional development initiatives across the organisation
Job Requirements:
- Experience in programme management, early careers, graduate recruitment or talent development
- Understanding of early careers pathways within the veterinary, healthcare or professional services sector
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience of coordinating learning, development or mentoring programmes
- Confidence using data and feedback to evaluate programme effectiveness
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively across a multi-site organisation
