Our client, a leading organisation in the retail sector, is currently seeking an experienced Programme Manager for an inside IR35 contract. This role will be for an initial period of 6 months, with a strong focus on overseeing a small portfolio of disparate back-office projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of 4-5 unrelated projects within the Support Office/Group Applications area
- Providing hands-on support and guidance to project managers, particularly during absences
- Ensuring detailed involvement in projects, rolling up sleeves to support as needed
- Managing stakeholders at various levels effectively
- Covering project managers' absences and running their projects when necessary
- Maintaining a technical mindset to oversee infrastructure projects from a tech fit-out perspective
Job Requirements:
- Experience in programme management within the technology sector
- Understanding of ServiceNow, Halo, or similar workflow tools is beneficial
- Adept at managing projects related to building and infrastructure tech fit-outs
- Ability to effectively manage and mentor a team
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
