Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is seeking a Quality Engineer for a contract role supporting clean water infrastructure projects. The role will focus on the production, management and close-out of quality and handover documentation across Thames Water projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation, management and close-out of handover documentation
- Maintaining accurate quality records throughout the project lifecycle
- Working with project, engineering and construction teams to ensure documentation meets required standards
- Reviewing quality documentation for completeness, accuracy and compliance
- Monitoring document progress and identifying outstanding information required for project handover
- Contributing to quality assurance processes across clean water infrastructure projects
- Supporting the resolution of quality issues and ensuring corrective actions are properly recorded
- Communicating with internal teams, subcontractors and wider project stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a Quality Engineer, QA Engineer or similar role within civil engineering or the water sector
- Understanding of quality management systems and construction documentation
- Knowledge of civil engineering processes, particularly within clean water infrastructure
- Experience producing, reviewing and managing handover documentation
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to interpret technical information and maintain accurate project records
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams
- Understanding of relevant construction, health and safety and quality standards
