Business & Requirements Analyst - NATS

Initial 6-months
£450pd, UMB inside IR35
2-3 days p/w onsite in Whiteley

Our client, a leading organisation within the defence and security sector, is seeking a Business and Requirements Analyst for a contract opportunity based in a CTC environment. The role will support business improvement initiatives by identifying, defining and documenting business needs, while ensuring clear and effective requirements management across delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, refine and document business, stakeholder and solution requirements
  • Develop business models, process maps and simple organisational designs using workshops, interviews, modelling and structured documentation techniques
  • Investigate departmental business issues, clarify complex situations and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide evidence-based analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
  • Work closely with stakeholders to build a shared understanding of requirements and priorities
  • Support project managers by clarifying scope, assumptions and constraints
  • Lead analysis activities on small projects or defined workstreams, escalating complex issues where appropriate
  • Prepare high-quality documentation and models to support project delivery and business change

Job Requirements:

  • DOORS experience is essential.
  • Experience in business analysis and requirements management
  • Strong ability to elicit, analyse, manage and document requirements
  • Understanding of business process analysis, process mapping and organisational design
  • Experience applying business analysis tools, techniques and industry-standard processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to analyse complex business issues and communicate clear findings
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage assigned scopes of work with moderate autonomy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, senior analysts and stakeholders within a defence and security environment
