Our client is seeking two Site Managers to support clean water infrastructure projects across Sheffield and the wider Yorkshire region. This contract opportunity is focused on mains renewal, capital projects, mains laying and mains replacement works, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing daily site operations across clean water and civil engineering projects
- Supervising mains renewal, mains laying and mains replacement activities
- Co-ordinating site personnel, subcontractors and project resources
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate site records and documentation
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, clients and utility stakeholders
- Supporting the successful delivery of capital works projects
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering or the water sector
- Practical experience of clean water projects, mains renewal, mains laying or mains replacement
- Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements
- Ability to manage subcontractors, site teams and project activities effectively
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work across the Sheffield and Yorkshire region
- Relevant site management qualifications, such as SMSTS, and appropriate water industry training
