Mechanical Assembly Technician
Our client is currently seeking a Mechanical Technician with manufacturing experience assembling precision electro-mechanical equipment.
This position is responsible for the assembling of subsea electrical equipment to specifications as called out on engineering drawings and procedures. As a Technician, you will have the ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and procedures and verify materials per bill of material.
The successful candidate will require the ability to read all schematics, and use those schematics to build all required assemblies with minimal supervision. You may be required to test or assist in testing operation of completed products.
As H&S is key, you will also maintain work areas and ensure they are clean and free of debris. Mechanical technicians have to participate in all tool box safety meetings that are conducted.
Ideally you will be a time served mechanical or electrical technician/engineer and have experience with the proper use of hand tools, and be familiar with safe operation with those tools.
