We are looking for an Environmental Coordinator to join the departments of Air to Air Refuelling and Actuation at Eaton's Missions Systems, based in Wimborne.

The Job

Do you have environmental knowledge including energy and waste management?

Have you acquired either NEBOSH, ESG or IEMA Certification? Alternatively, do you have a relevant degree in an Environmental/Sustainability based subject?

Do you have an awareness of environmental auditing and ISO 14001 basic principles?

The role is permanent with flexible hybrid working, competitive salary and annual bonus

Responsibilities include:

  • Is an ambassador of sustainability
  • Ensures proactive management principles and tools (e.g. root cause analysis, cost benefit analysis, carbon foot-printing, LC assessment etc.) are applied locally to Hazard & Risk Management and Environmental Aspects & Impacts, including business continuity planning and emergency management
  • Ensures that reactive principles are recorded and reported to FM - EHS Manager
  • Monitors Environmental performance and ensures internal assurance processes are in place locally
  • Ensures area of responsibility is in full compliance with regulatory and corporate MESH requirements
  • Develop, provide or arrange suitable and sufficient EHS training locally
  • Takes part in FM / EHS project management including MOC.
  • Develops impacts and aspects registers along with risks and opportunities
  • Has knowledge and able to keep up to date with legislation requirements
