Our experienced hire roles on the NATO JEWCS Programme are ideal for people wanting to take that next step up with more responsibility or make a real difference to a NATO capability. As a key technical member of this programme you will be in an influential technical leadership roles to push through the successful and safe delivery of this major programme into service with NATO forces.

You'll have an important role in mentoring and supporting the next generation of engineers coming into this area to mature their abilities and pass on your knowledge, looking to you for guidance and support. You'll be teammates with experts, specialists and other highly capable people from across a diverse set of backgrounds and disciplines, working together to deliver a highly challenging programme with many interconnected parts.

What you will do

  • Lead the way in our technical engagements with our partners, suppliers, customers and internal teams to deliver on our commitments through to customer acceptance
  • Develop up and coming engineers and technicians with their Systems skills and sharing your domain knowledge
  • Contribute to and make key decisions that impacts how we design and deliver this major programme.
  • Be a part of preparing for and being involved with integration, testing and demonstrations.
  • Develop and mature systems designs, systems architectures, design rationale and design evidence to ensure our products and any upgrades are designed to design integrity and safety standards for acceptance by our customers

What we are looking for?

  • 5 years residency in the UK as a minimum
  • Science, engineering or maths based educational background to degree level
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering within a complex, multi organisation technical project with a variety of different key stakeholders across multiple operational domains
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor others on technical and soft skills
