Position Overview:
Design and develop real-time, safety-critical powertrain systems for passenger and commercial vehicles. Be at the forefront of clean and efficient ICE technology.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design control algorithms & strategies using Matlab Simulink/Stateflow
Autogenerate code for production intent software
Develop system diagnostics and CAN communication specifications
Create validation tests for electrical test bench, HiL, and vehicle
Implement functional safety strategies to EGAS standard
Analyze and capture customer requirements
Provide expertise for investigations and problem-solving activities
Support engine and vehicle testing for customers
Contribute to system and hardware FMEA
Guide and mentor systems engineers and peers

Skills:
Mandatory:
Proven experience in developing real-time embedded systems
Proficiency in Matlab Simulink and Stateflow
Use of CCP calibration tools (e.g., INCA, ATI Vision, CANape)

Desirable:
Experience in fuel injection systems, engine control features, or powertrain diagnostics
Understanding of sensors, actuators, and protocols (CAN, UDS, J1939)
Tier 1 supplier experience in the automotive industry
Production intent auto-coding environment experience
Familiarity with CAN tools (e.g., Vector toolchain) and activity management tools (e.g., Jira)
Understanding of C language in source code
