On average a Sunseeker Electronic Assembler will earn up to £40,000 per annum including ovetime .

Who we are seeking

We are seeking experienced Electrical Assemblers to join the Sunseeker family at our Technology Centre in Poole, Dorset, as part of an exciting phase of planned growth. As an Electrical Assembler, you will play a key role in the manufacture of a product admired on a truly global scale.

Within your role, you will be responsible for the wiring of electrical and electronic components, such as relays, circuit protective devices, diodes, plugs, switches, terminals, contactors and other various electrical and electronic equipment. Assemblers will also be tasked with the mechanical assembly of components prior to wiring, including cutting and preparation of plastic trunking/conduit, GRP and plastic enclosures, wood and PVC substrates, by using a variety of hand and power tools.

Considering the obvious requirement for electrical safety and a high quality of work, you may also be asked to complete testing and inspections through a predetermined procedure, using a variety of inspection techniques, such as visual, mechanical, continuity and automation.

Our working patterns

  • Day Shift | Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30
  • Night Shift | Monday-Thursday, 18:00-04:30
  • Weekend overtime is widely available.

Payrates

  • £13.20p/h PAYE (Semi-Skilled)
  • £14.50-£15.50p/h PAYE (Skilled)

Overtime is widely available and paid at an increase pay rate if over the basic 40 hour working week of x1.5 Monday - Saturday or x2 for Sundays and bank holidays.

You will also be entitled to 30-day holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

Sunseeker have 2 shipyard shut downs, one in August and the other over Christmas.
