Job summary
I am looking for a SHEQ Manager in the Power sector working in the Scottish region. Some travel will be required throughout Scotland.

Job description
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will ensure a strategic and proactive approach to managing SHEQ performance ensuring compliance with high standards and specifications, whilst driving continual improvement. You will support ongoing relationships and frameworks with existing clients, and agreed strategic targets, in line with a defined SHEQ plan.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Effective and visible leadership of all aspects of SHEQ
- Determine and ensure compliance against company, client and legislative requirements
- Ongoing development and delivery of the SHEQ Plan and associated process to drive continual improvement
- Manage the monthly reporting process information, both internally and to clients
- Monitor/review all relevant aspects of SHEQ standards
- Present performance information at contract and client meetings as required
- Build a skilled and sustainable SHEQ team to support programme assurance
- Assist in the contract competence including manage the implementation and delivery of training courses, initiatives, and contract inductions
Requirements:
- Knowledge of legislative requirements and best practice in Safety, Health, Environment & Quality
- Knowledge of Power, Utilities and non-infrastructure capital works
Education/Qualifications
- NEBOSH Construction / General Certificate
- Full UK driving license
- CSCS Card or equivalent
Additional Information
Must be willing to travel throughout Scotland which may occasionally include overnight stays.
