HSEQ Engineer

As a HSEQ Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance within the construction department. This is a permanent position with great career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with UK Construction HSEQ regulations and standards
• Develop and implement safety, health, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; provide recommendations for prevention
• Deliver HSEQ training and awareness programs to employees and subcontractors
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and address HSEQ requirements
• Monitor and assess environmental impact, including waste management and pollution prevention

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience with UK Construction HSEQ
• Engineering qualification
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Right to live and work in the UK
