Job description
HSEQ Engineer
As a HSEQ Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance within the construction department. This is a permanent position with great career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with UK Construction HSEQ regulations and standards
- Develop and implement safety, health, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; provide recommendations for prevention
- Deliver HSEQ training and awareness programs to employees and subcontractors
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and address HSEQ requirements
- Monitor and assess environmental impact, including waste management and pollution prevention
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience with UK Construction HSEQ
- Engineering qualification
- NEBOSH or equivalent certification
- Excellent understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to live and work in the UK
