IT Systems Analyst - Gloucestershire

IT Systems Analyst opportunity has arisen for our client, an exciting manufacturing organisation based in Gloucestershire.

As IT Systems Analyst you will work within the IS team to support the implementation of all Local/Global IS projects within the UK and Asia region.

As IT Systems Analyst you will provide support for servers and middleware with a focus on Linux. You will work with other IS groups to industrialise proven technology which includes, building servers, installing applications or provisioning in the cloud to meet the business needs or project specific deliverables.

As IT Systems Analyst, you will:

• Provide 1^st, 2^nd and occasional 3^rd line Support IS Infrastructure/Systems/Platforms/Technical Projects
• Work as part of the project team to deliver assigned projects
• Create VMWare servers including build of OS and services for Windows and Linux
• Be responsible for preparing required technical documentation
• Support the preparation of presentations around project proposals & feasibilities and provide IS project status updates to the PMO and IS Management.
• Install, configure, maintain and monitor Windows Enterprise servers
• Ensure compliance to all security regulations or standards during builds

Job Requirements:

• Experience in various IT/IS disciplines, technologies, and platforms (Infrastructure, databases and mobility).
• Experience and skills in cross-functional project and programme management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to engage effectively at all levels within the organisation.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of various Windows Server Operating systems
• System administration of Linux, including patching and packaging
• Experience with Monitoring tool solutions
• Working knowledge of VMWare, NetApp and Citrix
