Responsibilities
Manages the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of
business processes at an enterprise level that are of a strategic and/or businesscritical
nature. Develops project plans, time and cost estimates, and overall
organizational change strategy. Provides direction and leadership to implement
the change and transform the organizational behaviors to the new way of
working
Enterprise Business Analysis
Interpret the business need and identify solution recommendations to business
problems at a business unit level. Lead the improvement efforts to be made that
are within span of control at this level.
Business Process/Model Rethink
Lead the design and execution of methodologies such as strategy decoding,
market and industry research, and process mapping for purposes of analyzing
the business model or its components and identifying opportunities for
innovation.
Information and Business Advice
Provide authoritative specialist advice to senior managers at the business unit or
regional level to enable the implementation of policy, projects, and change
initiatives.
Data Collection and Analysis
Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify
possible impacts on the business.
Leadership and Direction
Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's
strategy and action plan, and the broader organization's mission and vision;
motivate people to achieve local business goals.
Culture of Innovation
Promote a culture of innovation by creating solutions that boost creativity,
innovation, and collaboration, such as idea generation platforms, jam sessions,
and hackathons.
Project Benefit Realization
Deliver baseline assessments and post-implementation analyses to evaluate and
track the realization of business benefits.
Innovation Strategy, Pipeline and Roadmap
Provide the means (e.g., research, ideas, solutions) to prototype innovation
business cases with the potential to shape the innovation strategy, pipeline, and
road map.
Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be"
Document "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to
migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.
Business Case
Manage the delivery of feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current
projects to contribute to the development and continuous review of business
cases.
Business Requirements Identification
Collect business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews,
document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to express the
requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.
Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development
planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or
maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve
performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of
technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing
education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
