Job description

My client is a non-departmental public body, which regulates work-based pension schemes in the United Kingdom and plays an important role in helping to keep more than £2trn of savings safe.
As a result of a temporary promotion, my client is looking for a strategy principal to help us deliver our corporate strategy, putting the saver at the heart of what they do.
RESPONSBILITIES

• Facilitate Board- and Executive-level strategic decision-making and be responsible for developing responses in a fast-paced role with consequences for the whole organisation.
• Specify and commission new work streams across the organisation.
• Collaborate with other departments to make sure our strategic objectives are at the heart of our corporate planning and prioritisation.
• Produce and present high-quality papers and slide decks that convey clear and well thought out narratives, including research and analysis, risk assessment, and the development of options and recommendations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong, relevant experience of working within a strategy/policy or similar function, preferably within a regulatory/government department/financial services environment.
• Comfortable in working broadly across all areas of an organisation to develop and embed strategic products and processes, garnering input and support from colleagues and partners who may have different perspectives and objectives.
• Skilled in leading high-quality papers and presentations in a variety of formats for senior audiences and external publication

In addition to a salary of up to £62K, my client offers a world beat pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 30%.
This is a hybrid role that will require a visit to the Brighton office once a week.
