>The job

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Engineer to join their international Business Technology Solutions team. In this role, you would be responsible for the design, development, future proofing and maintenance of a portfolio of applications (Actuarial applications), along with coordinating with the team to ensure compliance with ITGC and SOX controls, and continuous delivery following agile methodology. You will proactively expand your expertise in both existing and new functionalities, along with best practices in the relevant space, applying these learnings in your daily job.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage Actuarial application functionalities and understanding dependency between functionalities and highlighting the impact of a change.
• Provide technical leadership for the application. This includes determining both the technical platform and application design, as well as providing leadership for the application development team.
• Manage the solution components and dependencies with other upstream and downstream systems.
• Alignment of the solution with application development and security best practices.
• Review the application changes and approve / raise exception where need.
• Support in testing and validation of changes.
• Oversee issue resolution.

>Requirements

• Very strong knowledge of Azure
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release policies, Terraform, etc.
• High level of English (C1)
• Proven experience leading multi-functional teams
• Team collaboration skills
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Nice to have:

• Experience creating solutions with .NET tools, .NET Core 6 and ASP.NET
• Appreciation and understanding of Enterprise architecture and Integration patterns
• Good understanding of agile methodologies.
• Having experience in insurance and especially in the actuarial domain is highly desirable
• Familiarity with analytics (modeling, prediction, segmentation) preferred
