Job description
My Client is an independent community interest company that has been awarded the contract by local healthcare commissioners to deliver community healthcare services to the communities they serve. At present we work on behalf of commissioners in Bromley, Lewisham, Croydon and Bexley.
As a result of Organisational restructuring, they are currently recruiting for an IT Service Desk Manager who will be responsible for delivery and development of IT Service Desk and Front Line support services to Bromley Healthcare staff and other supported user.
You and will have a proven track record in managing an IT Support Service to a user base of over 2500 Bromley Healthcare and GP users spread across different locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of IT front line services consisting of phone/email based IT service desk and self-service portal
- Development of walk-up IT support/Tech Bar service
- Day to day management & development of IT service desk staff
- Ensure that ITL Best Practice service management are applied
- Assist and coach IT team members to follow back practice ITIL Service Management
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience of championing, embedding and developing of an ITIL based service desk toolset
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing a technical helpdesk environment
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in an IT related field
- Staff recruitment and management experience
This is an on-site role based out of Orpington, Kent and graded as NHS Band 7 (£43,742) with additional benefits inclusive of an NHS Pension.
