Graduate Design Engineer

Job title:	Graduate Design Engineer
Location:	West Sussex
Terms:	Permanent 40Hrs
Salary/rate:	£ 25,000 - £30,000
About us:	An Engineering Consultancy - working with Prestigious clients with high value projects such as hyper cars. We cover Automotive, Motorsport and Military Vehicles.
About the role:	Taking part in small to medium sized projects, working on deliverables which meet the objectives Work as part of a multidisciplined and cross functional team. Presentation and contribution at design reviews. Simultaneous Engineering: Design for assembly, manufacture, and service. Supporting mechanical design requirements for both Powertrain and Body systems.
Responsibilities:	Some knowledge in Automotive design, working knowledge of mechanisms and materials. Aware of Design Standards and GD&T. Educated to HNC or Degree level in an Engineering subject. Demonstrate sound grasp of engineering principles with a logical approach to problem solving
Candidate requirements:	Any experience with Catia V5, with any working knowledge of 3DX. Be able to work to deadlines and deliver on time. Self-starting and ability to make things happen. Demonstrate the ability to manage external suppliers. Have ownership of projects they are involved with. Have a high level of commitment, a team player, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
