Job description

Require a Design Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Rate: £40,000


Requirements: Essential

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering

Desirable

• Solid experience in electrical control systems design
• Familiarity with major manufacturer's drives and control products (e.g., ABB, Control Techniques, Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Siemens)
• Knowledge of AC/DC Drives integration
• Experience in motion control applications
• PLC programming skills
• Skilled on electrical schematic design
• Involvement in installations from design to implementation

Responsibilities: The role is based on hardware and software design of PLC/Drive systems, project management, and onsite commissioning. Engaged in a variety of projects for OEMs and end users, overseeing them from the tender stage to project completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
