Introduction

Our client, a leading company in the commercial sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the company's commercial position by developing and implementing a comprehensive understanding of contractual, commercial, insurance, and legal processes related to contracts. Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for relevant commercial aspects of a section of a project, reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager
• In-depth understanding and experience of contractual, commercial, insurance, and legal processes
• Effective client relationship management to facilitate smooth commercial progression of the contract(s)
• Maintaining a high level of commercial and technical knowledge, collaborating with the delivery team to develop techniques and solutions that meet business and customer needs
• Preparing subcontract invitations to tender and evaluating tender returns, making recommendations for subcontract appointments and ensuring accurate and timely placement of subcontracts

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
• Membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB
• Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in civils/infrastructure projects
• Change management experience
