Job description

Introduction:

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the Fabrication industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for supporting and meeting the demands of the Weld/Fab shop. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a busy but friendly factory environment, ensuring operator quality control and adherence to health and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently perform Mig and Tig welding on a variety of materials, including Aluminium, according to drawings and company standards.
  • Promote and practice good housekeeping routines to ensure the plant and equipment are kept in optimal working order.
  • Ensure a full understanding of health and safety requirements and responsibilities, in line with the BSI 45001 Health & Safety management system.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in Aluminium Tig Welding, with a proven track record of producing high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in both Mig and Tig welding techniques.
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:30

Remuneration:

The remuneration for this permanent role is £15 per hour.
