Our client, a leading company in the science industry, is seeking a highly skilled AI & Generative AI - Domain Architect to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

Our client has initiated a fundamental transformation, positioning digital technologies as key drivers. To support this transformation, they have created a startup team dedicated to the AI and Generative AI domain. As an AI & Generative AI - Domain Architect, you will join this startup team at its inception, contributing to its growth and development. Your main focus will be delivering prioritized items, ensuring speed and agility while maintaining high standards of compliance, ethics, and regulations. In this fast-paced business environment, your ability to execute timely will be essential.

As an experienced AI & Generative AI Domain Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions, driving innovation and growth, and playing a pivotal role in shaping the future technology landscape and product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include defining the architectural vision and strategy for AI and generative AI applications, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure scalability, alignment with business objectives, and adherence to best practices. Additionally, you will support internal and external communication efforts to showcase the value delivered the company.

Key Outputs

• Architectural Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear architectural vision and strategy for incorporating AI and generative AI technologies into their products and services.
• Solution Design: Design scalable, efficient, and innovative AI solutions that meet business requirements and leverage the latest advancements in AI and generative AI technologies.
• Technology Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert in AI and generative AI, guiding technical teams in the design and implementation of AI systems.
• Collaboration and Guidance: Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate AI capabilities into product offerings, providing technical leadership and guidance.
• Best Practices and Standards: Establish and promote best practices and standards for AI development, including ethical considerations, data governance, and model management.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and generative AI, exploring new tools, technologies, and methodologies that can drive innovation within the company.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs, present AI solutions, and advocate for the strategic use of AI.

Key Stakeholder Interactions

• Works closely with value recipients to understand requirements, opportunities, problems to solve, and continuously receive feedback.
• Works closely with the required Leadership teams, engaging across multiple teams on the topic.
• Works with Product Managers, Business and IT teams to avoid duplication, identify interdependencies, and manage end-to-end delivery.
• Works closely with the IT Leadership team, enterprise architects, and the IT architects community.

Education and Experience

• Extensive experience in AI and machine learning, with a strong focus on generative AI technologies.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale AI solutions in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Deep understanding of AI model development, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, AI development tools, and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience (SAFE methodology).
