Job description
As a Certification Engineer, you will be working with our client's UK CAA Part 21J Design Organisation on aircraft and mission system modification programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detailed knowledge of aircraft modification certification.
- Knowledge of EASA/UK Part 21, CS/FAR 23 and 25.
- Proficient in the generation of:
- Design change classification, description, and proposal of classification.
- Certification Programme, identification of certification basis, changed and affected areas, proposal of Compliance Demonstration Items (CDI) and Level of Involvement (LOI).
- Compliance Checklist, identification of applicable requirements and population of proposed Means of Compliance (MoC) and compliance summaries.
- Other compliance documents e.g. test plans.
- Experience of certification of complex projects on aircraft under civil or military airworthiness regulation.
Job Requirements:
- Desirable to have experience working on King Air, Piper PA-31, 727, 757 aircraft.
- Previous experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).
- Knowledge of DAOS.
- Knowledge of AS9100.
