Job description

Our client, a leader in the marine industry, is currently seeking Platers for ship repair work on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing high-quality fabrication work on ships and marine structures
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Collaborating with a team of skilled tradespeople to complete projects

Job Requirements:

• Marine/Ship repair experience
• NVQ level 3 or apprenticeship qualified
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Health and safety awareness in a marine environment

The contract is on going. You can expect to work up to 12 hour days.

£25/h first 48 hours

£37.50/h After 48 hours

Accommodation is provided as well as daily travel to and from accommodation/site.
