Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Azure Network Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position based from offices in Birmingham on Hybrid basis.

As an Azure Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Azure virtual networks, subnets, and security groups. You will also be involved in implementing and maintaining VPN connections, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions on the Azure platform.

Collaboration with security teams to ensure the implementation of best practices for network security will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will optima network performance, address performance bottlenecks, and integrate network components with applications and services.

• Experience in IT Network and Network infrastructure
• Significant experience in Azure networking
• Ability to design, deploy, and manage Azure virtual networks, subnets, and security groups
• Knowledge of implementing and maintaining VPN connections, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions on the Azure platform
• Understanding of Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs) and best practices for network security
• Experience in optimising network performance and addressing performance bottlenecks
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate network components with applications and services
• Experience in monitoring network traffic and responding to network-related incidents and outages
• Strong documentation and reporting skills for network configurations and procedures
