Our client, a global medical technology company in the Life Science sector, is seeking a Repair Technician to join their team. This is a permanent night shift position with no visa sponsorship available. As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for handling technical and processing activities related to the manufacture of medical device components.

As a Repair Technician, you will:

  • Attend to electro-mechanical faults, diagnose and repair them in a timely manner to meet production targets.
  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish offline machinery and ancillaries.
  • Ensure all manufacturing equipment is set up and produces products according to established Quality Control specifications and standards.
  • Continually monitor in-process quality and address any issues to prevent product holds.
  • Work closely with operational and quality control personnel to actively pursue and promote continuous improvement.
  • Support engineering in the installation and validation of new equipment and technology.
  • Perform operational responsibilities, including operating production machinery, assembling products, and performing quality checks.


To be successful in this role, you should have a qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, such as C&G, HND, or a time-served apprenticeship, or equivalent experience. You should have a good engineering aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a methodical approach to work. Experience in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment is preferred.
