Introduction: Backend Engineer

Our client, a leading player in the Banking and Investment sector, is seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join their team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the company's software infrastructure, ensuring the smooth running of their financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality, efficient, and secure software solutions using C# and .NET
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements
• Writing clean and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards
• Identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs
• Optimizing and enhancing existing systems to improve performance and scalability
• Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
• Participating in system architecture design and planning
• Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in software development with a focus on backend technologies
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in building and consuming them
• Solid understanding of database design and SQL
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
