Job description

Field Installation Engineer - Electronic Fire & Security

Location: Whiteley, Hampshire

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Overtime available at enhanced rates)

Basic hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced Field Installation Engineer to join our engineering team based in Hampshire. Based in Whiteley, Hampshire, the purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient installation, repair, and servicing of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control Systems, and potentially Fire systems across a variety of projects, ranging from small domestic setups to large commercial installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, repair, and servicing of Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Access Control Systems.
  • Effective communication of encountered issues with admin team or engineering manager.
  • Compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Upholding company standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Participation in the call-out rota.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and Fire systems.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Good timekeeping and customer-oriented approach.
  • Strong fault-finding capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
