Job description

Introduction

Our client, a local authority based in the South West, is seeking a Senior Planning Officer to join their team. This is a 6-month initial contract position based in Swindon. As a Senior Planning Officer, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the delivery of high-quality strategic allocations and new communities, including the New Eastern Villages (NEV) and Kingsdown. You will be responsible for the determination of complex planning applications for development.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute at a senior level to the delivery of strategic allocations and new communities, including NEV and Kingsdown.
• Determine complex planning applications for development.

Key Points

• £43-45 per hour Umbrella Rate
• 6 month initial contract
• Hybrid set up

Job Requirements

• Experience in Development Management and Town Planning.
