We are looking for a Principal and Senior Avionics Design Engineer to lead our design efforts on exciting new customisation and retrofit projects.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Take charge of all avionic and electrical design initiatives.
• Perform Avionics Compliance Verification Engineering.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to address design challenges.
• Ensure design compliance with UK or UK Military regulations.
• Contribute to project timelines, estimates, and quotes with avionic and electrical expertise.
• Foster the growth and development of our avionic and electrical design engineering team.
• Innovate and refine design procedures to enhance efficiency and adapt to new requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• A solid history of avionic integration design adhering to EASA, UK, or UK Military standards.
• A deep understanding of aircraft systems and software safety analysis.
• A relevant degree in Aerospace Engineering, with a preference for avionics specialisation, or an equivalent engineering apprenticeship/training in avionics.
• Extensive experience in a design or engineering environment, focusing on avionic/electrical and mission system integration.

Desirable:

• Previous leadership experience in a senior design role.
• Experience as a CVE and acting as an avionic and electrical signatory.
• Proficiency in designing with AutoCAD and Enovia SmarTeam.
