As a Chartering Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing cargo or tonnage deals and ensuring the smooth operation of their shipping services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and negotiate charter party agreements for the transportation of goods by sea

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics and operational efficiency
• Monitor vessel performance and address any operational issues
• Conduct market research and identify potential business opportunities
• Prepare and present reports on chartering activities and market developments

Job Requirements

• Demonstrable successes in Chartering, either in Tonnage or Cargo
• A good understanding of the Australian and local Pacific bulk market
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Permanent right to live and work in Australia
