Job description
Double Day Shifts: Earlies 06:00-14:15 (M-F) | Lates 14:30-22:45 | 45 min. break | 37.5 hours per week
This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient processing and supply of Inbound Materials to our Production facility as well as processing end product to our customers.
There are two main areas of activity within the Logistics function:
- Inbound/Outbound Material Processing - Goods In/Out
- Line Feeding - Production
The role will entail:
- Unloading Inbound consignments upon arrival on site.
- Communicating effectively with the Logistics Management/Supervisors and Site Security to ensure accurate and timely arrival of Inbound/Outbound consignments.
- Accurate and timely provision of components to Production and supporting departments.
- Picking of materials to support Customer Orders.
- Maintaining accurate stock movements using WMS.
- Loading of Outbound Product destined to our Customers/Suppliers.
- Occasional transport of products to off site storage facilities.
- Processing of recyclable materials.
- Operating at the highest level of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental performance.
- Maintaining a very high standard of housekeeping both Internally and externally.
- Other Logistics related tasks as requested by Management/Supervision.
Additional/special features of the role:
- Candidates would ideally need to have experience in Logistics Operations in a fast moving goods operation.
- Possess the ability to work individually and as part of a team to maximise the challenges this position offers is essential.
- Show a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
- Be willing to work overtime when required.
- Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualification:
- Knowledge of Logistics Operations and associated supporting activities.
- Current Fork Lift Truck license would be advantageous.
- Clean Driving License.
