Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the consultancy and site teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of design tasks
• Review and assess design plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Provide technical advice and guidance to the project team on design-related issues
• Monitor and report progress on design activities, highlighting any potential delays or issues
• Coordinate and facilitate design meetings, ensuring key stakeholders are involved
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including design briefs and reports
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and procedures
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards

Job Requirements

• BSc/HND/HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Significant experience in the Water sector, with a strong understanding of design
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven track record of coordinating design activities and ensuring buildability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
