Our client, Southern Water are looking for a Water Production Planner to join their water production team based in Durrington, Worthing (Southern Water's head office). This is a permananet position, working directly with Southern Water.


Must have clean water network modelling experience

The Job

This is a specialist role with technical and modelling capabilities, to ensure the continuous and resilient supply of wholesome water from source to tap, through overall cost efficiency modelling and protection of groundwater.

You will be responsible for network modelling outcomes and hydraulic investigations, delivering significant savings by embedding a new culture to ensure a fully optimised operation of the production network at minimal cost, providing support during a water operational incident to ensure risks to public health and restoration of water supply are met at all times. Responsible for production of annual OFWAT reportable outage key performance indicator, identifying full site outage of less than 90 days.

To be a successful candidate you must have specialist background in water supply network modelling and analysis in respect of application to water utility asset maintenance and operation. You also require an understanding of Asset Risk and in particular the company's Asset Lifecycle Process (ALP) and Asset Risk Management (ARM). Have ability to think strategically, understand and communicate to influence others including Tier 2 managers and other key stakeholders complex technical and economic issues.
