Water Quality Monitoring Manager
Southern Water are looking for a Water quality monitoring manager with experience in setting up and managing labs to join their team in Durrington, Worthing.
As a Water Quality Manager you will have sole responsibility in ensuring the design and effective delivery of the water monitoring programme, information management and reporting, drives compliance and performance in the Water service.
We are seeking an experienced Line Manager from a technical environment to be accountable for the creation/delivery for the water analytical and sampling programmes. You will be responsible for the Management of the water services laboratory contract performance and cost, and the cross Regional sampling service to deliver water and wastewater sampling. You will be instrumental in the information management process, equipment accreditation and monitoring, with oversight of identification and investigation of atypical trends.
This is a challenging opportunity to ensure continuous improvement across the operational process teams. You will provide technical support, insight and strategic knowledge and advise whilst delivering an upmost service. We are seeking a strategic thinker, with strong management and leadership skills and the ability to motivate and drive others. You will be able to manage complex data sets, have a Scientific honours or equivalent and significant water quality/water supply experience.
