We are currently looking for a Lead MRI Radiographer to work for a leading private healthcare provider based in Cheshire

The Job

So, what does the role of MRI Clinical Lead entail?

Reporting to the Imaging Manager, as MRI Clinical Lead you'll take on the responsibility of the highly specialist lead role in the imaging field of MRI. As part of this role, you'll provide specialist training as well as leading departmental research and auditing in this field. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Ensuring that the team delivers effective care to clients requiring MRI imaging

  • Acting as a Specialist Diagnostic Imaging resource for the multi-disciplinary team and Radiographers

  • Assisting the Imaging Manager in the development of strategies and policies for service improvement

  • Delegating work to others within the department, as well as undertaking Human Resource activities with all members of the team

  • Planning, monitoring and quality assuring the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment

  • Vetting and interpreting requests with a view to implementing the correct protocols

What do I need in order to be considered for this MRI Clinical Lead role?

Proven experience as an MRI Radiographer within an imaging department

  • Diploma / Degree in Radiography, and a Post Grad Certificate / Diploma in MRI

  • HCPC Registered and continued professional development post-registration

  • Superb management and leadership skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to gain the confidence of colleagues and peers

  • Ability to work in a commercial environment while maintaining safe standards

  • A professional and supportive manner with the ability to deal with difficult and sensitive issues, ensuring positive outcomes

  • A positive and proactive work ethic, with the ability to deal effectively with challenging situations and individuals

  • Highly numerate and literate, with excellent IT literacy and proficiency using Microsoft Office applications

Hours of work are full-time (37.5 hours per week) to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the business.
