We are recruiting for a mechanical systems engineer to maintain and repair mechanical systems on naval ships in the Middle East. Candidates will need hydraulic experience.
The Mechanical Engineer will be accountable to the superintendent for providing the day to day operations of the Platform System responsible for the provision of Technical Services to designated ship repair and ship maintenance activities
Successful candidate will be responsible for materials and work processes across all Mechanical system maintenance and repair jobs both at Navy workshops and in ships afloat. To provide technical expertise and guidance on associated system, repair of ships in order to ensure that the maintenance and repair activities are completed in schedule
Duties will include the repair or maintenance work of complex mechanical systems onboard naval platforms along with the technicians in order to complete the work on time, as per cost schedule and ensuring high quality standards.
Based in Abu Dhabi
Salary range is: AED 12,000-16,000/month (tax free) + private medical + annual air tickets + end of service benefits + 24 days holiday + mobilising air tickets
