We are currently looking for a Inpatient Physiotherapist to work for a leading private healthcare provider based in Hampshire
We are looking to recruit a capable and experienced team worker to join our Physiotherapy team. As a qualified Physiotherapist you can enjoy a very diverse role. Your role will involve working with our multi-disciplinary team on our inpatient wards to rehabilitate patients and prepare for discharge. Team working is a big part of this role, so successful working relationships with our Nurses, Radiographers and expert Consultants will be a defining factor in delivering the outstanding patient outcomes we are proud of. Indeed, in this role you will find you can quickly build your clinical knowledge by such close working with fellow clinicians and some of the best regional consultants.
The hospital is a busy and progressive private hospital offering a wide range of procedures from medical, surgical and orthopaedic specialisms. We are very proud to offer excellent inpatient physiotherapy over 7 days. Our weekends are covered by a rota system supported by contract and bank staff.
We have a vacancy for an Inpatient Physiotherapist who will be working as part of a team to treat a wide variety of expert elective surgery ranging from orthopaedic (adult and paediatric), general surgery and cardiac patients, some of whom require our input in our intensive care setting. The post holder will be expected to cover all specialities as part of our team approach to caring for our inpatients.
The applicant will be expected to work flexibly over 7 days which includes participating in our weekend rota. The role is 37.5 hours per week although we would consider part-time for the correct candidate.
The post holder must be a qualified physiotherapist with a valid HCPC registration and be 6 months + qualified. It is essential that the applicant has experience working in an acute setting having covered such rotations appropriate to the specialities. These include Acute respiratory, surgical and orthopaedic.
