An opportunity to lead an established LNG Technical team as a Technical Manager / Fleet Manager has arisen with a reputable LNG Ship owner based in London.


Proven experience as a Technical/Fleet Manager or extensive LNG Superintendent Experience, with a desire to move into Management.

The Job

The Technical Manager LNG will be tasked with managing a team of 7 and will take overall responsibility for the Fleet, the development of the current Technical Team, communication with both Owners and Charters as required and also to act as the lead focal point for Fleet and Technical Matters, which are escalated.

The Technical Manager LNG is ultimately responsible for the technical budget of the vessels; incorporating annual budget development, monitoring OPEX/CAPEX spend as well as effectively managing Dry Docking budgets and overall spend.

The successful applicant will be tasked with working closely with the wider teams in the business including, but not limited too - Marine, QHSE, Crewing and Purchasing.

In addition to managing the current fleet, the Technical Manager will also play a large part when it comes to Newbuild tendering, from spec review and recommendation through to budget preparation.

This is a critical hire and requires a strong but personable leader who can effectively engage and develop the current team as well as continually strive for continuous improvement within the Fleet Operations.
