Introduction

This is a 6 month contract for a highways contractor to ensure the Senior Management Team are provided within accurate and timely data and reports to allow informed business decisions to be made and improve performance.

The Job

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Management of the performance and compliance team comprising of three staff
  • Support the delivery teams in improving operational performance and deliver efficiencies through process improvements
  • To develop, implement & monitor processes and procedures that achieve client and business objectives
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators are captured and reported both internally and externally as required
  • Lead on the Contract reporting Cycle producing high quality reports that are suitable for various audiences including Clients and Shareholders
  • Custodian of the Contract Risk Register, liaising with action owners to minimise risk
  • Lead on the internal and external audit schedule for the Contract, ensuring audits are undertaken as planned with improvement actions being implemented
  • Ensure the depot and office compliance calendars are regularly updated
  • Capture good news and innovations, ensuring network bulletins are developed and shared

  • Ensure that the Senior Management Team are provided continual visibility of contract performance
  • Through strong leadership, ensure that your objectives are adequately cascaded and supported by your teams
  • To maintain and enhance the companies reputation by encouraging and demonstrating our core vision and values
  • To promote and value our culture of continual improvement while complying with our Business Management System policies and procedures

Core Competencies:

    • Ability to effectively manage, motivate and develop people across multiple disciplines
    • An understanding of risk management principles and its application to mitigate commercial and business risk
    • Ability to engage and conduct effective negotiations with clients, stakeholders and third parties
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • An ability to drive continual improvement and manage change
  • An ability to effectively plan, prioritise and manage conflicting and changing priorities

Experience:

  • Able to manage multi-functional teams across LoHAC Contract sites
  • Proven experience in managing contract compliance, including management of KPIs
