Embedded software engineer role offering a fantastic opportunity to develop safety critical products for a wide range of industries.

You will be working for a large Engineering Consultancy who have a fantastic reputation in their field. They work with a wide range of customers and will allow you to design systems for the Nuclear Power, Rail, Defence, Automotive and Aerospace sectors.

We are looking for candidates with strong experience of Embedded C or ADA, a keen interest in new product design and those who are interested in developing their skills and career with the company. Projects are often customer led and bespoke so requirements can be varied although typically projects will primarily use C on a real-time embedded system.

This is an opportunity to join a growing, dynamic team with a strong pipeline of future opportunities. This is a technical role that would suit all engineers with a range of experience between 3 and 20+ years' experience of working with software systems.


JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities for this Software Engineer role

- A degree in a numerical discipline
- Development and test of real-time, embedded and control systems.
- Working with software-based systems in safety or mission critical industries
- Working with compilers and assembler languages
- Static and formal software analysis techniques and tools (such as SPARK, Polyspace, MALPAS etc.)
- High-level programming languages such as C and Ada
