Deputy Project Director, Build
Based in the scenic maritime city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, this is Canada's most exciting shipbuilding project for over 30 years! With a brand new facility and cutting edge technology, they are building the new ships for the Royal Canadian Navy.
The Deputy Project Director, Build will serve as the lead interface between the Company's Project Management team and various functional teams including the DND Project Management Office, Royal Canadian Navy, Combat Systems Integrator Subcontractor and Warship Design Subcontractor.
- Manage and monitor assigned areas of the project to ensure completion within budget, to schedule and in compliance.
- Supervision and overall responsibility of the Project Management Organisation
- Support, develop and implement program strategy and plans
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Master's degree in Engineering or an MBA is preferred
- Proven experience working in naval ship design, commercial shipbuilding, or other large military procurement program
