EICA Technician
Introduction
Our water industry client is looking for a EICA Technician to join their Production team in Portsmouth.

The Job
The role ensures that water treatment works are maintained which enables the effective production of safe drinking water. The technician will have a focus on:
- SCADA
- PLC
- Telemetry systems
- Commissioning of instrumentation
- Fault finding process applications.
Working knowledge of Schneider ClearSCADA, Unity Pro, Wonderware InTouch, Allen Bradley SLC would be beneficial. A competitive salary is offered with a commitment to participate in a standby rota once trained.

The role requires a skilled qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, and ideally you would have served a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant field.
Some work requires the applicant to work in confined spaces with the use of breathing apparatus (full training provided). A full driving licence is essential, and the successful applicant will be required to pass a drivers assessment.
