Introduction
BAE Systems are currently looking for 3x Hardware/ Systems Test Engineers to work on a 12 month contract, which will be a mix of work from home and onsite based working at Warton, near Preston.

Hardware Engineer - 12 Months - Warton (Preston) - £41ph LTD/UMB or £32.29ph PAYE
This role requires a full Security Check prior to starting which can take up to 3 months and is only open to UK Nationals who are born in the UK and have no dual or relinquished nationalities.
Job Summary
The role is for engineers to support the design and delivery of 'fixed installation' IT Server Rack Cabinets and Deployable Server Rack Systems for the Mission Data Planning System, Sceptre. The ideal candidate will have experience of designing, building and testing IT Server Rack Cabinets whilst ensuring that they are electrically safe to current legislation.
Essential -
1. Microsoft Visio 2010 Professional.
2. Hardware and electrical design.
3. Good Technical report writing (MS Office tools) .
Desirable -
1. Knowledge of and conformance to the MoD JSP480 regulations would be an advantage
2. Previous experience of computing product configuration would be an advantage
