Manufacturing Services Manager

The ideal candidate will have a background in either an electronics manufacturing role or someone that has dealt with 3rd party companies looking after transfer of design within the electronics field.

The role will include:

To manage the transfer of design and manufacturing information to manufacturers and purchasing of products, negotiating prices and raising purchase orders.

To manage internal assembly projects as required

To find, assess and lead the approval of new manufacturing partners, writing RFQs, visiting manufacturers that get short listed then making recommendations. Travel will be required however this will be minimal and based mainly in the UK.

To provide first line support to the manufacturers and act as a conduit for the dissemination of information in both directions.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience managing outsourced/contract manufacturing in electronics, preferably in the automotive industry, experience of using ERP systems, negotiation skills any experience of building and sustaining supplier relationships would be preferred.

This is a middle management role, new within the business and a very exciting step into a developing and expanding business. Home working to begin with but the main site is Dartford.
