Support Driver - Cambridge
Salary: £32,000 per annum
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Support Driver to join our growing team in Cambridge.
The Role
As a Support Driver, you will assist operational teams with the safe delivery and collection of equipment and materials, support site activities, and ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard. This is a varied role requiring flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect equipment, materials, and supplies to and from sites.
- Support site teams with general operational duties.
- Carry out vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are maintained and roadworthy.
- Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Requirements
Essential:
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- CSCS Card.
- EUSR Card.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Desirable:
- Experience working within construction, utilities, or civil engineering environments.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
